Hi Chikas! I'm[glow=red,2,300]Jay-Elle[/glow]I just turned 19 a couple days ago ;D, and I thought that as a gift to myself, I would pave the way to a new, beautiful, confident and happy me! I'm the kind of person who every now and then gets filled with sudden ambition and determination to do things, achieve goals and transform my life. And in those instants I make plans and goals, create steps to gettin there, but alas these ideas never leave the written form. Until today! I've been regularly going to the gym since the beginning of the year and now its time to boost those efforts with better eating. NUMBERSHeight:174cm tall Current weight: 84kg Future weight:[glow=red,2,300]65kgs[/glow] Bust: 94cm Waist: 82.5cm Hips: 102cm Thighs:55cm Booty:117cm I think I measured it right...haha the areas I'm really wanting to go for are deflating those tyres round my mid haha take some of the junk outta my trunk and tame those thighs of mine! Ok so today, Tuesday the 22nd of June I start the diet. If the NZ All Whites can score a goal against Italy (!!!) and draw with them (!!!!), I can certainly stick to this diet and score my goal too. I just went up the road and bought the groceries for the first week and had my finaly guilty meal, which although very tasty, I can defniately live without ;D So, let the journey to my new body begin! Adios old me!

So, Day 1 has come to an end. I got up quite late today which may be why I didn't feel thaaat food-deprived, though still a bit hungry. Whenever I found myself wanting some chocolate or something I made myself stop and think if I actually wanted to eat chocolate or if I just wanted to munch on something for the heck of it. Over all I think today wen well!
Day 2, here I come!

[shadow=red,left,300]Day 2[/shadow] Today I had to get up early to catch a 6.40 train, and so my day having been longer, I felt some hunger pains. I was tempted to stray from the plan several times today, especially when I went to my Grandparents. O.m.g the smell was amazing and sooo tempting, the only way I could stop myself from eating the entire thing was to take a nap in the furtherest room from the kitchen haha Though I am proud to report that I stuck to it ;D aside from adding a couple raw carrots to munch on and an apple. I hope I can be strong tomorrow and not cave! Everytime I watch tv, I swear every 2nd commercial is about something edible!! lol no! I won't give in! Day 3, I'm ready for you!!

[shadow=red,left,300]Day 3[/shadow] Today went pretty good. I drank alot of water. Don't like milk so had hardly any with my cereal. Been really feeling hungry so have again been munching on raw carrot sticks, though I'm really craving something sweet!!! Doesn't help that it's subway day and my little sister is rubbing in my face the subway cookie she and I both love!
Still got dinner to go and prob more carrot sticks. It's gonna be a long night for me so I think I'll have a later dinner than usual.
*sigh* I can do this!
Bring it on day 4!

Damn it, Day 4 was going well until the girls night out. I was rushing home from work and had to get ready to go out, as a result I missed out dinner. And while all the girls and I were catching up at my friends house, there were junk foods galore-although I didnt feel tempeted to eat any of it, but I wound up eating a jellytip ice block, and later that night I had an Up&Go energizer and one toffee pop biscuit. not happy with my self!
today, Day 5, its gone good, stuck to it 100%. Am about to have dinner before I go to my grandparent's house so I don't eat there.
NO MORE SLIP UPS!

I had to work today and stupidly forgot to prepare my lunch for today last night, so just had an apple and a mandarin then ate what I was supposed to eat for lunch when I got home. Family keeps tempting me with food, but I've been strong enough to resist ;D Havent done much exercise today. I'll make up for it tomorrow when I go to the gym. might do a kickboxing class as well as my normal workout.
I'm finding this diet thing pretty good. I feel more at home in the kitchen as opposed to a guest haha.
Day 7 tomorrow!! wooo!

It has been a whole week since I have started this diet, and I am less hungry, less heavy and still alive!
Today went well, I stuck 100$ to the plan, except I'm yet to have my snack, which I'll probably have when I get the munchies tonight.
I'm going to weigh myself for the official first week numbers tomorrow.
Yay! I'm on my way! Hello week 2!

[glow=red,2,300]WEEK 2 Day 8[/glow] I lost 3 kgs, 4 cm off my chest, 4 cm off my waist and 9.5cm off my hips. I'm kinda happy with it, been watching the Biggest Loser haha so thats probably why I was hoping I would have dropped 8 kgs in a week like them lol
Today went well! Though...I had a slip up dispite my declaration of no more slip up! not very proud of it. I had a smal palm-ful of pebbles and 6 malteasers.
Was craving some sweets.
Been hitting the gym a lot! yay! I'm really liking the new lifestyle this is giving me!

[glow=red,2,300]Day 9[/glow] This morning, there was an emergency at one of my relatives' house. At 7am I jumped out of bed- and practicaly went straight to their place. I was there the entire day, and they had nothing I could eat! except oranges and apples. So as a result I ended up missing my breakfast and lunch. Tomorrow will be better, I've already made and packed my food, woo! p.s boy. do I love watching the Biggest Loser, it's a real motivator!

Today started off really good, I had made all my meals for the day-except dinner, and had brought my own lunch with me when I went out for a day at the mall with my friend. But then when I went to my counsins house, they literally made me eat. I tried to have as little as I could get away with, I ended up having a sausage, a small hand of fries and 1/4 of a bowl of laksa, I tried to take all of the brocolli and cauliflower but then my Aunty was like "have some meat!" and put a bunch of meat on my plate too.
Was going so well until then! I even did the whole "I've already eaten" thing, but nope. didnt work.
See, it's not that I can't stick to the diet-although I've had 1 or 2 slip ups, but it's more the pressure from family to eat! haha I do love my family, but it's so strange that we all complain about our weight, and then when one tries to do something about it, there's an absence of support. *sigh* I gotta be more assertive and tactful!
Gonna put up the numbers tomorrow for day 10.

Didn't get to go to the gym today, but felt like I did quite a bit of movin while I was helping my Grandmother move things out of her house today. So I guess thats a bit of weights and cardio? haha
Had a roast tonight, which I thought turned out pretty good for my first time! Am in love with Chilli and Lime seasoning!

[glow=red,2,300]Day 12[/glow] Day 12 was good, I'm really used to the plan now and the amount of food. I've started having the weight watchers jelly every 2nd night just to kill the sweet craving. [glow=red,2,300]Day 13[/glow] Today was good too, had a super early start to the day which kind of threw me off on when I eat. I like to have something every 3 hours or so to keep the metabolism going. But I think it worked out fine. But I dont feel like I've lost much or any weight. I feel the same and I think I look the same hope I'm wrong! haha
