Good luck Kaela I'm sure you will look gorgeous, I just got my diet plan and it looks great and the food seems pretty nice so we won't struggle too much.
All the best, I start my diet on 18th too.
Cheers

Hi there everyone, Im Rose, 23 years old, and from the north shore in Auckland.
I decided I need to loose the xtra 24kgs i put on in 1 year(fell in love and gained it all!), after my sister told me she was getting married in sept this year. Shes living in brisbane, and came over after not seeing me for a year, and was like "rosie! all you have to do for my wedding is loose weight"" hahaha sisters! Seeing as though im her maid of honour, i figured that it was a fair enough statement, as i dont want to ruin her wedding photos by being the chubby chick in her wedding party! hahahaha yea both her and i are pretty shallow! but hey! its the motivation i need to do this. It helps know she needs to loose just as much if not more than i do! and so does 1 of the other bridesmaids! PLUS.. its a beachfront wedding in hot and sunny QLD so dont want to feel fat and uncomfortable!
Im on day 7 of the diet and have lost 5kgs. I was 94kgs, and now at 89. Im 5'10 so dont look huge, but i want to look tiny! super sick of my legs chaffing!!! hahahahah
anyways, sorry about the novel, but thats my story!
nice to meet you all!

Hi Kaela
Yesterday was fun but today I have a severe headache and feel not so great, been trying to drink lots of water, and ended up having to go and lie down this afternoon for a couple of hours as my head was just pounding too bad, feel better now and already had my banana snack, so another hour or so until I have my Smoothy for dinner, and hopefully after that I will get out for a walk with my neighbour, although its really hot and muggy here today, so might take a while convincining her that its a good idea.
I can't weight to see the results either!
Hey Rose, 5kg in a week that sounds amazing can't wait to weight myself again next Monday.
All the best to you all.
Cheers
Linda

Hi Kaela,
You are so right, I feel heaps better today and just had my ham wrap it was yum. Smoothy was great last night too. Not sure how I will get on tomorrow, as I have to be at a job which is about 40 mins away from my home by 0645 and will be working all day until about 8pm, there will be catering all day where I will be so I will have to try and avoid all temptation and stick to my water with salad and fruit as I think thats the best I can do. Wish me luck!!
Great having no headache and I have already done 30 mins exercise walking this morning (3.3km according to my pedometre) and then I will take the puppy for a fast walk after dinner, so its all good. I won't have time to exercise tomorrow so will try and make up for it today and Friday.
Keep up the good work, will check in with you Friday :-)
P.S are you going to take before and after photos? I got a print out of the chemist scales on Monday and my actual weight was 82.2kg so I will keep that on the fridge as a reminder to myself that I will never be that heavy again! 67kg here I come!!!!

Hi all!!
This is day 5 for me and going well, just like Linda had the headache and had to nap, but all good now.
My starting weight was 78kgs, my goal is to lose 10kg by march. And then as much as i can before next summer. I decided when the weather got warmer, that next summer i was not going to feel like crap about myself, and i am going to feel great in my clothes, might even go swimming with my children at the beach.
I am 37 and have 6 children, 1 hubby (come to think of it i started getting overweight when i moved in with him), 1 cat (also arrived 10 yrs ago when i started getting bigger)... Great now i have someone to blame, my husband and my cat... ;D lol
Thats new...not the pregnancies...hehehe, actually i am one of those weird ones who just went back to starting weight after having babies, it's the starting weight that was the problem.
I also started on the 18th so now theres 3 of us, we'll have to team up. Go girls!!!!

Hi Ikip49 and Kaela,
Well day 5 and feeling great, I feel off the wagon yesterday couldn't resist the tempation of delicious catered food, so had a piece of cake (tiny), and a few extra things but they were reasonably healthy apart from the handfull of winegums and jelly beans I ate at 8pm and the 3 red bulls I drank, but it was 14 hour work day so pretty tired by the end of itl And I walked practically the whole time, so definately did more than 30 mins exercise, so hopefully its not all bad.
But I am back on track today and going to stick with it, going out tonight for someones graduation drinks, and I will drink my shake and eat my toast before I go, walk ther eand back and only have 1 drink think it will be a vodka and tonic in a very tall glass.
Think the weekend will be the hardest but I can't wait for the scales on Monday and to see how I have gone.
Good luck for the weekend girls
Linda
P.S Kaela I love McD's too lucky the closest one to us is over 1 hours drive so don't get it often but when I do I have a big scoff.....

Hey ladies, Looking forward to the scales too. Working 14 hours, probably on your feet too, would surely burn those calories.
And another Mcds fan and b king and pizza and kfc and etc etc etc. Completely staying away. Although my house had fish and chips last night, didn't worry me. I did go for a walk one night when everyone was having dinner, as it smelt so good. So i left them to it, and it was all cleaned up before i got home.
Good excuse to get out of dishes, i thought I'd just wander off if i feel too tempted.

Heya, my names Tonya Im 27 and from West Aucks. I weigh 95kg (OMG I cant believe I've told you my weight lol). I would love to lose 20kg but any weight lost would be great, 10kg by April is my first goal I'd like to reach. After having my two children (aged 7 & 4) I found that I piled on more and more weight. Next week I'll be turning 28, and I've decided that I really need to do someting to make myself feel better. I plan to start this Monday - and can't wait!

Hi Tonya,
You go girl! But don't be too hard on yourself dieting when its your birthday, you do have to have a bit of indulgence.
Good luck and keep us posted
