Well folks this is it....starting this diet for the first time and by the looks of things it seems to work yipeeeeeeeee . I am coming up 60 in July and in May off to Australia on a Houseboat sailing up the Murray River, so this is my incentive to lose weight. I weigh about 78kgs and would very much like to get back to around 60/63kgs. Heres hoping. Good Luck to all those other people that have achieved their goals.

Hi Red Car girl,
Congratulations on starting the diet, honestly it works I am now into week 3 and have lost approx 7kg (scales at chemist broken so not 100%) but clothes much loser and I am feeling great. Week 1 is the hardest and you may get headaches and feel a bit weak, but it will pass just drink lots of water. I have around 8-10kg to go and I am determined to get there.
All the best, a cruise around the Murray River sounds like heaps of fun.
Keep us all posted.

Hi Marie, Welcome to the club, and yes it really does work today I have a pair of jeans on that I have not worn for about 6 months and thats only in 3 weeks....... amazing eh I feel quite proud of myself. As for the Salami toast thats not till week 2 so don't worry it will be all in your pack. And for the first week, I had one coffee on the Wed but saved my milk from my breakfast allowance and had a weak one, now I am into week 3 I am allowing myself 1 coffee per day made with real skinny milk and I truly savour it...... I am desperate to weigh myself at the Chemist but the scales are still broken, and I am keeping the print outs so I can keep myself motivated so will go for a walk later and see if they are fixed yet. All the best with your new begginings.... Linda

Hi Redcargirl.
I'm on week 2 now, and Linda is right - it does get easier. So far I'm down 4.5kg and am finding that I can wear clothes I haven't for ages too. I have a long way to go, but I honestly think its worth it. Hang in there.
