Hi there, I have just joined and hoping to start on Monday 25th January. Weighing in at 89kgs hoping to make 70-75kgs by June as I'm turning 40yr and want to blow all my old friends away with the new 'slim me'! I've been looking through week one thinking wow there isn't a lot of food, how will I not be hungry - any advice?

Hi Jaxtga,
Welcome to the club...... I know the food doesn't look like much for the first week but I am on day 7 and feel good, just keep drinking heaps of water to fill you up. I weighed 82.2kg on Monday and I definately can't wait to weigh myself on the scales at the chemist tomorrow and see the print out, I am going to keep them for motivation.
A word of advice you may get really tired and a headache around day 2/3 I certainly did and it was so bad I had to go and have a nap but now I feel good, have my togs and are are ready to go to the beach and I am sure I look a little smaller....
Good luck with the plan, and remember to make a diary :-)

hi jaxtga and ashleighrocelle,
I just thought I'd say hi and let you know that i will be thinking of you guys, there's 3 of us on here who started a week prior to you, so i hope that following our stories will help you. Not to mention I'm going to make it another of my challenges to work hard for myself to hopefully keep you going too.
Nothing like finding more reasons to keep myself on track...lol.

Hi, I have never done ANY type of diet before this is a first! I think it appealed to be because it is clear cut to understand and you know excactly what to get! I must it say my body has gone into shock ! I can see that the kickstart Diet sure does have one heck of a kick!! Not the most happy person to be round but my wounderful hubby is being very supportive which helps heap:-) So going to just suck it up and get on with it! Im 83kg and want to get back down to 65kg :-) But most of all to feel better about myself as I suffer from depression so yeh will keep at it! Want to feel good and sexy when I look in the mirror:-) Anywho thats all I have to say bout that :-) Jenny
