Welcome to the new forum everyone!
I have created this forum to assist everyone with their goals in losing weight, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me by posting a new thread/topic.
As this is a new forum, it will take some time before everyone joins in
I suggest you open a 'new topic' for your OWN weight loss journal to keep track of the challenges and successes you've encountered in your weight loss journey.
I wish everyone the best in their weight loss!
Yours Truly, Joanne

Hey Joanne.
Started the diet last Monday (21 Sept 2009) and have lost 4.5kgs in 1 week. I am so pleased. Since having my 2 babies I have not been able to move off 78.5kg and am now at 74kg!!! I really want to lose another 9kg if I can.
I found the first 2days hard, but after that has been rather easy. I even had a glass of wine on Friday night!!!
Looking forward to the second week. I have changed a couple of things around, but stuck to your rule of same or less calories. I am also going to take the exercise up a notch (walking 30mins a day at moment, but have started to jog and also on the stepper!!!)
Hubby a little miffed at the fact I lost 4cm off the bust though LOL!!!
Will stay in touch. THANK YOU AGAIN.

Hi Joanne, I also started my diet today, 28th of September at a massive weight of 105kg! My husband is 103kg, so we both started today. I have also tried many diets, but with no success. Loss 4 - 5kgs, but before you know, I picked up 5 again. I started this one with very, very good feelings that THIS is the one for me. I like the fact that you know what to eat and when, as well as all the recipes and groc list. I am not sure what kind of noodles to buy? Can anybody help me out? O, yes, I am 63yrs old and battle with my weight since childhood
I will stay in touch and read all the other tips etc Thanks!
PS Sorry, I am not sure how to do this?? How do I started a new topic?

Hi Joanne
I have a quick question, I have to have a day off on Saturday. We are out most of the day (over lunch time) at a french festival, so heaps of foods about and then a group of friends over that night for dinner/the boxing. Any suggestions food wise that will not blow all my hard work.
Cheers

You can just get any type of crispy noodles and that will be fine It doesn't matter what brand I am so glad that you find the diet the "one" for you, because having a good mindset is the first foundation for successful weight loss. Before you start the diet as I have put on top of every page, make sure you check with a GP if this is suitable for you and whoever else is doing it as well, and always advise me whenever you feel 'wrong' like dizzy, hunger pangs or anything like that. I have been told by a health practitioner before that it is just because of sugar loss that people who diet feel really bad symptoms on the first week, but after that, the body adapts and learns that not having so much sugar is okay But please still check with your GP I am sure you will succeed on the plan as long as you stick to it! It's all about you telling yourself that YOU CAN CONTROL WHAT GOES IN YOUR MOUTH, AND JUST SAY NO! looking forward to hearing from you You can create a new thread and open your own topic on whatever you would like to talk about

It's all about planning and preparing before you go to 'fat fest' and battling you rurge to eat. When you're full, you're less likely to eat. So before you go, eat lots of fruit and eat your lunch . When you get there, allow yourself 5 pieces of whatever you want, and that's it. That way, you don't feel too deprived, and you don't binge too much as well.. it's all about moderation. Just make sure the 5 pieces are not as big as a whole meal!! Just small finger foods will be fine. And you can have a glass of wine as a treat It's not so bad to treat yourself from time to time

Hi Everyone! I have been on the diet now for about 3 weeks and have lost 5.5kgs, I've found it very difficult to lose weight but am so happy because I've been battling to get out of the 80s for so long and today I weighed myself and was 76.6kgs!! I initially put on weight when I immigrated to New Zealand and balooned from 65kgs to 87.7Kgs. It took me 6 months to lose the first 6Kgs and since starting this diet it has taken me 3 weeks to lose about the same Its given me hope that i will return to my former size and I just want to say to all you guys, stay strong, we can do this and its soooo worthe it!!!
