Who are walkhaloics here? That is, people who are addicted to walking as their exercise?
I am! I just love walking in the morning, when the sun has just risen which symbolises a new day..
I LOVE IT! Especially the part when I see people going about their daily activities!
Who here are walkaholics too?? Raise your hands people! ;D

Hi Joanne, sorry but I am NOT a walkaholic! I started my diet on Monday, 28 September, but since it is raining, pouring and raining. Good excuse for me not to walk. But boy, I can tell you this much - I do my walking to the toilet!! Even at night time! ha.aha.

I started walking with my MP3 player today, what a difference it makes. I walked further and faster than in the last 6wks today just by listening to so good, fast music! The dog actually struggled to keep up with me today.
I have also started doing a bit of jogging on the treadmill and without some sort of music/TV I would die of boredom.
But I hear what you say about the starting of a new day - I go out at 5.45am and it is just amazing. But yes the weather has been rather crap, hence the treadmill getting a work out.

I love to go for a really big 8-10 km walk on the weekend with a friend and the dog. It's more motivating with a friend, you get to socialize and exercize all at once. Best of all it's something fun to do that's free and you feel so good afterwards.

Aren't dogs a great inspiration to get us out walking. I have a Rottweiler (the biggest wimp you have ever meet). She meets me at the bottom of the stairs every morning waiting to be taken out. I haven't the heart to not take her. Plus she is excellent security out on these darker mornings! (Man you see some weird sights early in the morning!)

Ooooh me I love walking! After breaky I put my daughter in her pram & off we go. I try to walk approx 1 hour each day. I totally agree ipods make you walk faster even the family dog. It's so nice to get out their with our nice fresh air each morning :-)
