Good Evening All!
Well, D-Day is Thursday. I will order my groceries online tomorrow and get started.
Having had a browse in here, I am picking I am the one with the biggest (literally) challenge ahead of me. Currently my scales have no batteries (added to grocery list!), and I am guessing when I say I am about 140kg, with a goal weight of 75kg.
I put on a lot of weight after a pregnancy that occurred along with undiagnosed hypothyroidism. I went from a size 12 to a size 22 practically overnight.
In the 10 years since having my daughter, I have not managed to lose any, in fact have crept up a size to a size 24.
I am 29 years old, and resolved to myself I would not let myself get to 30 without doing something.
I am looking forward to getting started, unfortunately an injury means exercise is out this week, including my normal indoor netball game (gutted), however at least I can make headway with the food side of things.
Looking forward to getting to know you all, and would probably put a bit more out there if guests couldn't read this lol (admin, that can be changed!)

day one down, wasn't too bad.
Stuck to the menu, other than an extra apple which helped me get through danger time #1 = time between finishing work and dinner. That is a time where I almost always have a snack (more often than not a kiddie bag of chips).
Danger time #2 coming up, the time from after dinner till bedtime where I start craving something sweet..........

Thanks Kriekz.
Day three, still going well. The weekends tend to be easier for me than during the week. Although I do need to make sure I dont snack during weekends.

well today I slipped I had been feeling unwell all day, a bit worried a cold/flu may be coming. Tried to eat some lunch, and failed. Was absolutely knackered, so picked up fish and chips for my daughter on the way home, and a piece of crumbed fish for me Ah well, tomorrow is a new day *kicks self*

Hi Mackie I have just joined only on day 2 - reading your diary is inspiring me - I too have hypothyroidism & subsequently have put on 20+ kilos - finally medication is right so I have no excuse now. Good luck & I will be following your progress also

well this week, I totally sucked. Was a very busy week and I didn't stick to the diet at all! In fact I am surprised I didn't put the whole 4.2kg back on! This week, 139.0 so a gain of .5! Back to kickstart!

wow!! I was just browsing through everyone's diaries.. and this just struck me! You are doing so well! Don't worry, you will slip from time to time, but as long as you keep going, you will get there I am so happy for you! Not sticking to the diet for a whole week but just gaining .5 back compared to the 4.5 kg lost in the first week is absolutely fantastic.. your body is used to burning fat!! Keep it up!
